Bonding agent was applied on the RCC surface without removing Concrete Curing Agent.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF A BONDING AGENT IS APPLIED ON THE SURFACE WITHOUT REMOVING THE CONCRETE CURING AGENT THEN THE BINDING PROPERTY OF THE MATERIAL WILL GET VERY BADLY AFFECTED AS ITS CAPACITY WILL BE UTILISED FOR BONDING ITSELF TO THE SURFACE AND IT WILL LOSE ITS PROPERTY TO BIND GYPSUM PLASTER TO THE RCC SURFACE.
The surface must be completely clean and any concrete curing agent must be removed completely as the Concrete curing agent contains WAX as an active ingredient in the material and WAX DO NOT ALLOW BONDING OF POLYMERS to the material.
Apart from the Concrete curing Agent, even traces of shuttering oil or grease also needs to be removed from the surface and the SURFACE MUST BE 100% CLEAN AND SOUND TO HAVE the BEST RESULTS FOR APPLICATION OF ALL OTHER MATERIALS.
In addition to inspection at the site we have also referred the matter to our quality control department for rechecking about any manufacturing defect in our Bonding Agent. And we have found that some material from the same batch has been supplied to our other customers and there is no issue regarding the quality of Bonding agent.
